Copper alloy looped fitting, probably from a vessel of uncertain date. The loop is cast and is complete (with an overall length of 31.2mm and a weight of 25.2g). The loop is oval (with a height of 26.4mm and a width of 30.6mm; 13.9mm x 17.4mm internal) and is comparatively substantial with a sub-oval section (7.9mm wide and 6.7mm thick).
