Post Medieval? lead alloy weight, 200mm long and weighing 1.68kilos. the object is rectangular in form and square in section. It has been roughly cast and narrows near the upper edge where it froms a rough circular suspension loop. The object may be a ships sounding weight? but its findspot is landlocked? It was found in a late Medieveal house in Tamworth during renovations.

Post medieval copper alloy coin weight, 18mm long and wide and 5mm thick. The weight weighs 15.5 grams and is quite worn but has the impression of a coin on its upper surface. This consists of a right facing crowned bust surrounded by faint traces of an inscribed border. The style suggests its post medieval and probably of a foreign monarch.

Post Medieval? copper alloy mount, 60mm long, 27mm wide and 6mm thick. The mount is in fair condition with a reddish/green patina and weighs 10.01 grams. The mount is made up of three thin shafts which are joined together at the base and are arranged in the form of two snakes entwined around each other and the central shaft. Early Post Medieval copper alloy flintlock striker. The object is 44mm long and 23mm wide with a depth of 16mm. The object is in fair condition and weighs 15.36 grams. It takes the form of a bird with outstretched wings which is sitting on a hinge. The birds beak forms the rectangular striker and its tail is heavily serrated, probably for cutting. The whole object sits on a rectangular mount with an L section and there are traces of gilding on the tail.

Neolithic (Early) to Neolithic (Late) disc scraper, 33mm long, 33mm wide, 5mm thick and 9.3g in weight. Made on a rounded flake that has been worked centripetally into a disc by the application of semi-abrupt and in some parts abrupt retouch. The flint is opaque and has turned light grey through the process of patination. The butt is large and therefore the piece has been hard hammer struck. The left side has been notched, and the dorsal face possesses two parallel ridges created by unidirectional removals.

It comprises a hollow circular tube with a stylised animal's head at one end and circular opening at the other, which has an incised collar and has been pierced transversely, with a silver pin. undated gold sheet, 15mm, long, 10mm wide and 0.25mm thick with a weight of 1.78g. The sheet is oval in form with a rectangular cross section. It is plain and appears to have been deliberately folded in half and then one edge has been folded over into the inside of the first fold. The objects full flattened length is c.28mm this and its form make it very similar to early Bronze age 'hair or basket ornaments' such as BERK-F548E6 and IOW-62FFD2, although this example has no decoration or the diagnostic rectangular projection usually found on these. Early Post Medieval silver gilt baluster spoon terminal, c.20mm long and c. 14mm in diameter. The spoon has a flat circular terminal which has been engraved with the initials W C or W I? and a possible animal? motif above. Below this the spoon narrows in width to a concentric recess then widens out to a rounded band, just narrower than the terminal before tapering in again. Below this is another concentric recess and a narrow, rounded band. Below this the spoon has a swollen oval shaped profile with incised rows of dots decorating it? at which point it is broken.

Medieval copper alloy key, c. 97mm long and c25mm wide and fob and weighing 5.8grams. The key has a circular sectioned, hollow shaft which has a rounded collar where it joins the fob. This is rectangular in form and has four circular holes (one near each corner) drilled into it. It has a circular cross sectioned, rectangular shaped, hollow projection emerging from its upper edge. The bit is rectangular and has a recessed edge near the shaft. It has two seperate projections which have a recessed outer edge and several small projections on the upper and lower surface.
