A lead alloy probable token which is likely to be Medieval in date. On one face is a cross crosslet with a central pellet and a pellet in each angle. On the other face is a cross or flower with lentoid arms or petals. In each angle is a crown with an annulet or a rounded letter below. No close parallel has been found for this token, but there are stylistically similar examples in the Salisbury Medieval Catalogue (Part 3, numbers 84 - 87) which date from the 12th or 13th century. A copper alloy jetton, Medieval in date, most likely 15th century, French in origin. The obverse has three fleur-de-lis in the centre with a legend around the outside. The legend is not clear due to wear but it also appears to be of the garbled type. The reverse has a tripl- stranded cross with fleur-de-lys as terminals, this is inside a rounded quadrilobe, inside a beaded circle. No legend is visible but this may be due to mis-striking, the design is not centred.

A Post Medieval lead token. It is circular in plan with designs in relief on both faces. On one side is a zoomorphic design showing an adult deer passant to the left underneath the adult deer is a calf. On the reverse is an unusual image possibly a dragon - possibly the head of an animal.

A late Medieval- Post Medieval lead weight, possibly a trade weight. It is square in plan with rounded corners and edges, it is slightly domed. The weight has a flat bottom with no markings. The sides appear worn probably due to use. The upper surface is inlaid with two small pieces of copper alloy. The first is very small, measuring 2 mm x 1 mm, it sits flush with the surrounding lead. The second piece of copper alloy takes the shape of a triangle each side of which has an orb, each orb in turn contains a single pellet.

Cast copper alloy object, possibly a fitting from furniture or machinery, late Post Medieval in date. It consists of a rectangular strip which has been bent so that it now forms a C-shape. On one face it has a central grooved line running its length. At both ends the strip narrows but both ends seem incomplete. The exact function of the item is uncertain.

Copper alloy sheet, possibly part of a flattened vessel, most likely Post Medieval in date. It would originally have been circular in plan but around a third is missing, leaving it almost semi-circular. It is not entirely flat, being bent out of shape, but it could have been concave originally. Around the edge are circular rivet holes at even distances from each other. Some of these have rivets still attached, four remain. These have sub-circular heads and solid, circular shafts.

Pottery spindle whorl, Roman- Medieval in date. The whorl has been formed from a piece of pottery cut from a vessek- probably when the vessel broke. It is circular in plan with a central circular perforation. It is flat on both sides with rounded edges. The fabric of the pottery is black on one side and brown/grey on the other. It is not clear if the black is the actual colour of the fabric or is due to wear/dirt. The fabric is smooth and has few inclusions. Cast copper alloy Post Medieval buckle. It is square in plan with rounded edges. It has a separate spindle (made of iron) which still has the pin and part of the plate attached. The frame is decorated all over with grooved lines. The two vertical edges having simple lines from one edge to the other. The horizontal edges having a criss cross pattern. In profile the buckle is slightly curved. This sort of buckle dates from about 1650 - 1750 AD. Buckles in a similar styles can be seen in Whitehead.

Cast copper alloy fragment of a Roman bow brooch, late 1st- 2nd century AD in date. Only the foot and lower part of the bow remains. There are remnants of the catchplate on the reverse. The bow tapers to a point towards the foot, there does not seem to be a widening for the foot. It is very worn and corroded all over, with a light green patina.
