A Post-Medieval lead alloy cloth seal 16th century in date. This is a two disc seal with an interconnecting strip. On the first disc is the legend; "...VIALL..." around the London Coat of Arms. The second disc is blank but would probably have had the arms of England on. For the full legend we can refer to Egan no.61 'S'VLII'PAO'VIALLE'LON // LONDINI PRO PANNIS LANICIS (seal of alnage of saleable cloths of London // for woolen cloths at London). (Egan 1995, p.40-41).

A Post-Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, dating to 1635. This is a four disc seal the interconnecting strip is broken but the seal is held together by a lead 'split pin'. On one of the first discs is the date 1635 either side of a fleur-de-lys. The second disc is a symbol/privy mark; "F". Geoff Egan confirms this as an Alnage official seal.

A Post-Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, late 15th-17th century in date. This is a two disc seal with an interconnecting strip. On the first disc is the symbol for the Augsburg Bull and on the second disc is evidence of a symbol but it is difficult to identify. Augsburg in Germany exported a huge amount of cloth (fustian) and seals from here are commonly found across England.

A Post-Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, 16th/17th century in date This is a two disc seal, the interconnecting strip is missing. On the first disc is the privy mark; "EIH". The second disc is blank. Privy marks were made up of the initials of either the weavers or the dyers or other group involved in the producing of the cloth. They are complicated and overlaid letters and so are very rarely linked to specific groups or locations.

A brooch depicting a scene of Elizabeth I and Sir Walter Raleigh. The brooch consists of a low wall, with the two figures standing facing each other. It is flat on the reverse with the detail on the front in relief. The reverse has the hook and remains of the hinge mechanism, at each end. The pin is missing. Other than that it appears complete. Sir Walter Raleigh is on the left, Queen Elizabeth on the right. Raleigh is wearing a hat with a feather in, a short cape, a sword at his left hip, hose and the shoes are unclear. Elizabeth is gesturing towards Raleigh with her right hand…

A late Medieval- Post Medieval lead weight, possibly a trade weight. It is square in plan with rounded corners and edges, it is slightly domed. The weight has a flat bottom with no markings. The sides appear worn probably due to use. The upper surface is inlaid with two small pieces of copper alloy. The first is very small, measuring 2 mm x 1 mm, it sits flush with the surrounding lead. The second piece of copper alloy takes the shape of a triangle each side of which has an orb, each orb in turn contains a single pellet.

A Post-Medieval lead alloy cloth seal, dating to the 17th century. This is a four disc seal type, the interconnecting strip is intact while the seal is also held together by a lead 'split pin' pushing through the second seal. On one of the first discs is an ornate fleur-de-lys, on either side of the fleur-de-lys are two numerals. On the upper right is a ....1..... while on the upper left is ....1/2...... The reverse of the first disc carries the mark of either Charles II/James II/William III, Geoff Egan was unsure which due to wear.

A Post-Medieval lead alloy cloth seal. This is a four disc seal with an interconnecting strip type however only one disc remains of the four. The front of the disc is scratched with 49. On the reverse is evidence of a split pin passing through a fragment of a second disc. Geoff Egan confirmed this as dating between the 16th and 18th Centuries.

A Post-Medieval lead alloy cloth seal. This is a two disc seal type with a missing interconnecting strip. The front of the first disc contains the Privy Mark letter 'E' with an '0' above and slightly to the left. The '0' is rotated to the right through 40 degrees. To the right of the 'E' is a vertical 'bar' or 'column' symbol possibly part of a much greater seal mark or coat of arms. This front disc only makes up approximately one third the overall size of the second disc which is well worn and difficult to make out. Geoff Egan confirmed this as dating to the 16th- 17th Centuries

A Post-Medieval lead alloy cloth seal. This is a two disc seal type with an interconnecting strip, the strip is broken but is present. The front disc has a rectangular indentation running from the centre to the outer edge at around 8 o'clock. Although there are other faint marks adjacent to the indentation they are difficult to make out. The second disc is plain with no evidence of a visible design although there is evidence of a central joining point. Geoff Egan confirmed this as dating to the 16th to 18th centuries.

This is a two disc seal type with no evidence of an interconnecting strip instead there is a series of folds near the centre of the rear disc that appear to be a type of split pin possibly with the original purpose of locking the two discs together around the original fabric. Also on the rear disc running from 9 to 10 o'clock is evidence of a beaded border. On the front disc are two indentations located just above and adjacent to the centre point the indentations appear to be the letters P L. Geoff Egan confirmed this as dating from the 17th…
