Post Medieval hammered silver coin, an Elizabeth I sixpence of 1575 AD (North 1997). Initial mark is an eglantine. The obverse legend would have read as ELIZABETH DG ANG FRA ET HIB REGINA. The reverse legend would have read as POSVI DEV ADIVTOREM MEV. The diameter is 19mm and the weight 1.33g.
