A complete cast copper-alloy Medieval strap slide dating to c. AD 1270-1400.
The frame is rectangular in cross section, and sub-rectangular in plan being slightly trapezoidal two narrow edges expanding outwards to a wide edge. This wide edge is slightly thicker almost D-shaped in cross section with a lip. The opposite narrow edge has a circular pierced hole filled with concreted soil corrosion product.
The strap slide is a dark green clour.
The slide is 19.9mm long, 13.6mm wide, 5.1mm thick and weighs 2.02 grams.

An incomplete copper-alloy strap fitting of probable Medieval date. It is rectangular in shape, made out of a sheet, with a circular hole at one end, and the remains of another hole at the break end. There is a thin folded sheet at the top with the remains of an iron pin in situ. There is evidence of gilding on the surface.

The object consists of a shaped plate with an attached hook. The plate and hook are broken at several points. The plate is trefoil shaped at one end and has an integral loop on one side. Within the trefoil sits the remains of an iron rivet. The face of the plate has a foliate decoration. The object has a dark green patina.

An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting, dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1600-1800).
The back face is undecorated and slightly worn. The front face has two incised horizontal lines as decoration. The object is a sub-triangular shape with three holes: two circles next to each other above an upside-down triangle. At the point of the triangle, there is a T-shape, with an incised line in the horizontal line of the T, and then M-shaped metal, with the second incised line long the top of the M.

A complete but disfigured copper-alloy hooked strap fitting dating to the medieval to post medieval period (c.AD 1300-1600).
The object consists of a metal bar that is roughly U-shape in plan and a variable cross-section. The shorter end creates a rectangular loop, which would have been set parallel to the side plan of the object however this has since been distorted. The longer end has an L shape, the central part of the object is curved. The object has a dark green patina.

An incomplete copper alloy strap fitting dating to the post medieval period (c.AD 1500-1600).
The object is sub-triangular in form and D-shaped in section. At the top are two rounded lobes with a circular aperture in each. Below the lobes is a rounded collar from which extends the body of the object that curves inwards and then rounds. Extending from the main body is an incomplete sub-rectangular projection that terminates in a worn break - this is likely an incomplete hook. A Post Medieval cast copper-alloy strap loop / belt slide probably dating to c.1650-1850.
Rectangular in plan and flattened, elongated U-shaped in profile. The sides are slightly splayed with the remains of iron attachments in the centre. The face is decorated with a pellet formed centreline and four symmetrical curved line panels either side. The surface displays a patchy green patina. Probably horse harness related.

A Medieval cast copper alloy hooked strap fitting comprising a bar mount with an (incomplete) hooked terminal. The bar is D-sectioned with moulded ribs, a pierced convex central boss and two rounded terminals, one of which is drilled for a rivet. The hook possibly once held a pendant loop to attach small items or a purse to the belt. Circa 13th - 14th century.

An incomplete copper-alloy strap fitting or belt mount of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1500 - 1700.
The fitting is sub-triangular with curvilinear sides and a narrowed semi-circular protrusion to the straight end.
The reverse of the fitting is flat and undecorated with two integral attachment spikes, one at either end. Both spikes are broken and worn.
The metal has a dark brown patina and is worn. The fitting is 25.9mm long, 9mm wide, 4.1mm thick and weighs 2.1g.

Copper alloy hooked strap fitting/sword belt fitting. The plate is triangular in plan with a concave underside. The top edge has a V-shape notch in the centre, the side taped down to the penannular rolled hook.
Two close parallels for this object are noted in Margeson 1993 'Norwich Households: Medieval and Post-Medieval Finds from Norwich Survey Excavations 1971-78'. 38, refs: 257-258. These objects are dated to the 16th or 17th centuries and Margeson notes that they were probably associated with sword belts or similar hooked mounts.

The object is S-shaped in the form of two styalised snakes or swans which meet in the middle. The snakes have worn moulded features on both sides and around the mid-point is a moulded transverse collar flanked by leaves or feathers. The object has a dark green patina.

An incomplete copper-alloy enamelled strap fitting of late Iron Age to Roman date, c. AD 40-80.
The strap fitting is oval with a D-shaped section and a chequerboard design on the upper surface. The resulting cells are infilled with alternating red and yellow enamel. The reverse of the fitting includes two projections with centrally facing worn terminals which may be the remains of a loop. Between these two projections is a rectangular hollow.
