Cast copper alloy seal matrix. Very short tapering semi round handle surmounted by a circular collar. There is a large circular suspension loop with a circular knop and a screw-like cap on top. The seal is plain suggesting that it was 'ready made' to be sold for custom engraving.

Post Medieval/Modern intaglio, identified by G Seidmann of Oxford University: a glass intaglio with faceted rim (?) which seems to be moulded (in the 18th or early 19th century) from a stone of 17th century date, and not a portrait but a fanciful image. James Tassie and his nephew and successor William Tassie produced several thousand moulded glass pastes: there is a catalogue by R E Raspe, which however has very few illustrations and those of famous stones. Medieval to Post Medieval lead alloy or lead cast uniface token. Though damaged, stylistically it appears to be a debased long cross coin, with short lines in the quadrants (two with 1 line & two with two lines).The reverse is plain and undecorated. Lead 'long cross' tokens are difficult to date accurately as they had a variety of uses and were made locally. Medieval to early post medieval cast lead alloy, or lead, perforated circular weight or spindle whorl. The weight has a circular perforation through the centre. The weight appears to have seen a lot of use as there is a great deal of wear and is heavily damaged being somewhat flattened. In the "Finds Recording Guide", Geake (2001, p66) points out that: "The function of lead weights would have varied, from spindle-whorls to fishing weights to trade weights." A cast lead alloy spindle whorl dating to the Medieval period, (AD1066-1500). The object is circular in plan and bi-conical. It has a small central circular perforation with an internal diameter of 7.93mm. One face is decorated with a series of moulded lines and pellets. The opposite face is decorated with a moulded herringbone pattern. The object has a mid-brown patina and the outer edge has been damaged on one side. A Post-medieval gold posy ring probably mid-17th century to mid-18th century AD. The ring is a simple gold posy ring circular in plan and D-shaped in section with a wide band, a plain exterior and inscribed inside which is relatively rare with a brief sentiment HUMILITY:IS TRUE:NOBILITY. There is also a makers detailed as RB. Much of the black enamel is still present and the edges are still sharp suggesting the ring has not been worn much. An incomplete post-Medieval fob seal matrix with a glass intaglio (c. 1750-c. 1800). The handle is missing. This is a rectangular setting, frame or holder and in plan it has rounded corners. The edges are slightly raised at the sides and each shorter side a fitting is missing which would have accommodated a spigot that allowed the frame to revolve. The rear face of the frame has regular waffle-like pattern which is similar to that of IOW-696E94 which suggests it is of similar date.
