It measures 22.8mm in diameter, 1.8mm thick and weighs 2.94g.

A worn and corroded base silver radiate of Valerian II (255-258), uncertain reverse, struck at the Gallic mint in 255 AD (Reece issue period 12; see R.I.C. V.i, p. 116). The reverse is too badly damaged following a strike to discern detail. There is some circumferential damage.
