Copper alloy Roman radiate possibly of Claudius II (AD 268-70) (Reece Period 13), possibly [PAX AVGVSTI], Pax standing left with branch and transverse sceptre. Mint of Rome. Cunetio p. 136, cf. 2190-1.
It was originally suggested that this was possibly a radiate of Carausius (AD 286-93) (Reece Period 14) based on the bust and the fact that Pax is a very common reverse type in his reign. This coin has been considered for Sam Moorhead's corpus for RIC.
