A possibly Roman incomplete copper-alloy probable strap fitting. Consisting of a circular loop, which flares in width towards its base and has an incomplete curvilinear projection at the centre of the base, The other side of this is a curvilinear moulding. It appears to be cast in one and may have functioned as some sort of strap fitting. It measures 18.05mm by 19.48mm externally and 10.6mm by 6.74mm internally.

Incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting of probable post-medieval date (1500-1700). The strap fitting is broadly sub-rectangular in plan and the body of the fitting is domed (D shaped) in cross-section; the edges are beveled. The front face has been decorated with a number of both cast and incised decoration. This decoration consists of a repeating floral pattern which is contained within a simple border which is incised on the beveled edges of the fitting. An incomplete copper-alloy sword belt fitting of early post medieval date. The terminal end is missing due to an old break. The fitting is roughly triangular in shape with a V-shaped notch in the centre of the complete terminal. It have a domed front face and a hollow back face and there ar two parallel rivet holes, each with the remains of corroded iron rivets within them. It measures 22.42mm in length and 12.84mm in width.

An incomplete copper-alloy probable strap slide of medieval date. Originally probably rectangular in shape, now only the outer edge and one side survive the rest is missing due to old breaks. It measures 23.78mm in width and c19mm in length. The outer edge has a central domed boss with grooves across it and either end also has a smaller boss, it looks very like a medieval bar mount. The side is plain and rectangular in shape.

A strap fitting, probably of Roman date. The fitting comprises a loop and two integral plates, back to back, which extend beyond the width of the loop. The plates (only one survives) have a pair of large rivet holes and crenellated terminals. The rivet holes each have cast rings around them. An incomplete cast copper alloy strap fitting of probable late fifteenth to sixteenth century date. The fitting measures 28.8mm by 13.7mm by 2.3mm and weighs 3.9g. It consists of a sub-rectangular plate with a shallow pointed identation at the wider end. The other end is broken, but it would have terminated in a backwards curving hook, which would have held a cast copper alloy ring. A worn and slightly corroded elaborate cast copper-alloy pendent loop from a medieval bar-mount. It is quatrilobate, with protruding knobbed mouldings at three terminals. In cross-section the loop is rectangular. The attachment end, where the loop would have been fixed to the plate, features a characteristic constriction at the point of suspension (Egan and Pritchard 1991, 219). A sub-rectangular cast copper-alloy medieval strap-slide with a perforation to take a rivet on the inner edge. Only the head of the rivet remains in situ. The outer edge is slightly bevelled, but otherwise plain. In cross-section the strap-side is rectangular with rounded corners. The patina of the object is dark brown-green with lighter corrosion dusting all over. A close parallel can be found illustrated in Egan and Pritchard (1991, 232; ref. 1248); it was found in a context dating to the second half of the 14th century.

Copper alloy belt plate. The object is comprised of a metal sheet with incised decoration and perforations for attachment and decoration. The broken end of the plate has one perforation for attachment and incised, irregular lozenge decorations. There are two main lozenges divided into four; each quarter-lozenge has a dot in the centre. This section is hemmed in on the broken side by a groove and on the other side by two parallel ridges, made by folding the sheet of metal. An oval body from one side of which extends a flat hook which then curves behind the body. The other side has a thicker hook which bends over the front of the body and which ends in a chisel-shaped terminal. The device on the oval face is unclear but may be a crown in an oval frame. The fastener has traces of gilding.
