The key is sub circular in section and begins with a small section of shaft, 4mm long, decorated with two horizontal incised lines. The key then forms a hollow lozenge shape with protuding knops, C.2mm wide, at each side. Cast copper-alloy seal matrix of post-medieval date. The object is conical and octagonally facetted; there is a loop for suspension at the top with the remains of an iron chain in the loop. The surface of the die, on the underside of the matrix, has been gilded, and has a well-defined pattern of criss-cross grooves. Despite the gilding, and the anonymous, impersonal nature of the pattern, it is still likely that this object is a personal seal matrix. A similar seal matrix can be seen on the database at LVPL-5824C1.

Early Medieval mount; Anglo-Saxon, cast copper alloy mount in the shape of a bird, possibly a cockerel. Flat mount with incised decoration on one face showing a bird, facing left, with hooked beak, small crest on the head, pointed wing extending up and backwards and thick curved tail. The feet are openwork but the area inside the beak has not been pierced. There is an incised oval for the eye and an indication of some patterning on the wing, although this is indistinct. Medieval silver short cross penny of Henry III(Class 7B2), 18mm in diameter and 1mm thick. the coin is in good condition and weighs 1.25grams. It has a double image on each side which is a result of the coin being turned over in the die and being struck twice.
