A worn projection to the edge of the central lobe, midway between the two existing outer lobes, suggests the presence of a further lobe which has since been lost to an old, worn break. A worn projection is also present at the middle of the upper surface of the centre lobe though its purpose is likely to be decorative rather than functional. A complete copper alloy buckle of medieval date. The buckle has a single looped oval frame with a projecting lip to the outer edge which has a recess to act as a rest for the pin. From the opposite side of the loop an integral forked spacer extends, each arm flanking a narrowed pin bar. The arms of the forked spacer taper in width to blunted points and file marks are present on the surface as a result of the shaping and finishing process. An incomplete copper-alloy 'fob dangler' dating from late Iron Age to early Roman period (c. 100 BC- 200 AD). The fob is circular with a two armed triskele design, with a small hole in the centre. On either side of the arms there are two openwork circles which connect the arms to the outer frame. The back of the fob is flattened, whilst the front is slightly raised. The brooch comprises two interlinked and conjoined C-shaped trumpet coils with knob ended terminals to the narrower ends. These are joined through the middle by a slender transverse trumpet coil. An incomplete cast copper alloy stud or rivet of medieval to post-medieval date. The Rivet has a flat, roughly circular head with an integrally cast sub-square sectioned shaft. The shaft terminates in an old and extremely worn break. Due to a lack of contextual evidence and any diagnostic features it is not possible to date this object with any certainty though it is likely to be late medieval to post-medieval. The metal has a dark blackish-brown patina and is worn. The stud is 13.3mm long, 14.7mm in diameter at the head, the shaft is 6.5mm wide and 5.6mm thick and it weighs 5.6g.

It is very worn and suffers from corrosion, with a green copper corrosion product visible on both sides of the surface. Terminal of a copper-alloy object, possibly a pin but perhaps a small decorative furniture fitting. The object is circular with a flat top and base with a separate broken shank which projects from the base, gripped by a 'claw' of four small triangular projections. The object is worn and in quite poor condition. The purple/brown patina of the metal is suggestive of a post-medieval if not modern date, though much of it is also affected by copper corrosion. It measures 11.76 mm long, 7.78 mm in diameter across the top and weighs 1.4 grams.

A Post-Medieval cast copper-alloy terminal (stop) for a scale-tang knife handle. The stop is in the form of a pair of bifurcating knops. The attachment end of the stop is rectangular and has a slot through it which contains the remains of the iron knife tang. It is 13.82 mm wide, 10.81 mm long, 5.85 mm thick and weighs 3.7 grams. It is worn with a dark red brown patina. Similar knife stops are illustrated in Read (2001:88, fig. 56) refs: 650-652 where they are dated to the 16th century.

A complete hand made twisted copper wire finger ring of probable Modern date, circa AD1800-1900. The ring is in fair condition although it is slightly contorted probably due to movement in the plough soil. The ring is formed of two copper wires of equal size that have been tightly twisted. The ends have been soldered together. The ring has a light yellow/orange colour and a shiny surface. Tarnish is present in the grooves of the twists. The ring has a maximum external diameter of 19.21 and a thickness of 1.31mm. It weighs 0.6g.

An incomplete bent copper-alloy double-looped buckle of post-medieval date. The buckle is trapezoidal in shape with lobed protrusions at either end of the pin bar. Each outer edge is pointed. The outside edge of the buckle is bevelled while the lower surface is flat. Otherwise complete, the buckle's pin is missing. The buckle dates from around 1620 to 1680 AD. Whilst undecorated, in form the buckle is similar to an example illustrated in Whitehead (1996, 82; ref. 514).

An incomplete copper alloy double loop asymmetrical buckle. This plain buckle has bevelled edges, there are small protrusions at either end of the pin bar. The D shaped loop is decorated with two projecting knops, the other is decorated with transverse grooves. The pin is missing. The length is 23.6mm, the width is 18.25mm, the thickness 2.4mm. It weighs 3.04 grams. Buckles like these date from c.1575 to 1700. A similar buckle is No. 563 in Whitehead (2003).
