A replica of Cnut of Northumbria (c. 900 - 905). This coin was found in an area of known Viking Age re-enactments and was examined by the FLO and Dr John Naylor, and was found to be a modern reproduction on the following grounds, Although the coin has inscriptions and obverse/reverse designs which are faithful to the originals, there are  problems when you examine the coin closely: the combination of obverse  (EC-1ii) and reverse (CR-G) type seen on this coin isn't seen in the Cuerdale hoard (which is a large sample) the letter forms are quite scruffy…

A fragment of a tobacco clay pipe stem, dating from the Post-Medieval period, c. AD 1650 - 1900. It measures 44.0mm in length, has a diameter of 6.4mm and weighs 2.4gm. It has a maker's name of A.CLEEVER along its side and the city of its manufacture - CAMBRIDGE parallel to it on its opposite side. The piece was found on the surface of the ground "eyes only", while metal-detecting. An Ann Cleever was a member of a family firm of Pipe makers, based in Newmarket Road, Cambridge c. AD 1864.
