A worn cast copper-alloy medieval two-part horse harness pendant. The incomplete outer frame is in the form of a quatrefoil with a cusp in each angle, though the lower half is missing. The apex of the frame has a pierced attachment loop, which is turned 90ยบ to the frame and has the remains of an iron pin through it. The inner pendant is attached to the outer frame by a corroded iron pin through a rectangular loop and still slightly swings. The pendant is in the form of a flower with six petals. An incomplete cast lead medieval ampulla. The lower part of the ampulla has a rounded base, which tapers to a midway point, then flares slightly outwards at the slightly open upper edge. On one side of the midway point is an integral triangular loop. The loop on the other side is missing. On one face is a Type I scallop-shell motif with bold radiating ribs, notched edges and well-defined shoulders (Spencer, 1990, 59). The other face has a worn design of a circle, possibly with a void bend inside. The length is 40.8mm, the width is 37.0mm, thickness is 10.2 and the weight is 53.0g.

The surviving length is 29.9mm, the width is 14.5mm and the weight is 4.40g. A parallel from London has been dated to the 15th century (Ward Perkins, 1940, p 273 and 279, plate LXXVI, No. 9).

The complete side terminates with a slanted figure of eight terminal, which is attached to the side by one of the loops. In each loop is a copper-alloy rove with a solid domed head. Looped around the inner loop is a copper alloy attachment with a small integral cylindrical loop. The length of the spur is 85.2mm, the maximum width is 45.0mm and the weight is 36.48g
