Silver coin. Cut Scottish Halfpenny of Long Cross and Stars, first coinage of Alexander III (1249-1286), issue of 1250-1280. The legends, which are fairly clear on this well-preserved coin, do not appear to tally with those recorded by Seaby's guide.
