Siliqua of an indeterminate emperor, the finder kindly suggests the House of Valentinian (364-378); the reverse legend is, however, more likely to be Theodosian (this from the numismatic options offered by the PAS website, here followed by this reporter). The legend is entirely and neatly clipped away. Obverse description: Bust draped and diademed right; the bust has a long neck.
