Copper alloy possible fork fragment. Cast fragment of an implement with three rounded section tines, two broken close to their branching and the middle tine curved upwards at its end. The table fork was a post-medieval introduction, and a three tined form was only common in the earlier 18th century, thereafter being displaced by the four-tined variety. However, he size and crude construction of this object do not suggest use at table, and rather resembles a flesh hook of an earlier period, an implement usually made of iron.
