Wrought iron possible fender terminal. Strip of iron with expanded and thicker mid part; both its ends are tightly curled over; a central aperture of 8.2-5.5mm diameter lies between these rolled terminals, and internally displays three turns of screw thread. This latter feature must suggest a modern date for the object, which is perhaps detached from fireside ironwork. Suggested date: Modern, 1800-1900.
Length: 55.4mm, Width: 19.5mm, Thickness (central): 12.1mm, Weight: 53.35gms.

Copper alloy possible fender fragment. Large Cast concavo-convex fragment with a scalloped edge and a collared base, springing from a flat plate bearing one drilled hole of diameter 5mm and the edge of a second; a third hole passed through the edge of the curved element. The weight of the piece might suggest an origin in a domestic fireside fitting such as a fender, and its style suggests a Neo-Classical scheme. Twisted, with the flat plate broken across a fixing hole. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1800-1900.
