The obverse has a shield over a long cross fourchee and the reverse has a crown with XXX/s underneath. In the top left corner of the reverse is a crowned ‘I’ for James I. Length is 20.4mm, width is 20.0mm, thickness is 3.9mm and the weight is 10.88. The original weight would have been 12.72g.

Probably a half guinea weight, the numbers standing for ten shillings and sixpence. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1700-1850. Length: 12.9mm, Width: 12.5mm, Thickness: 3.2mm, Weight: 4.00gms.

Copper alloy weight. Cast square coin weight, probably for checking a gold Angel or Half-Angel. One side bears the dim stamped image of an angel thrusting downwards and to the left with his spear. The other side bears traces of a circular panel but no further detail remains. The original surface of the object may be lost; one tiny glossy spot may be all that remains of it. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1465-1600. Length: 13.3mm, Width: 13.3mm, Thickness: 2.5mm, Weight: 2.99gms.

Copper alloy possible coin weight. Sub-rectangular flat object with a centrally drilled hole of diameter c.5mm which is surrounded by [probably] eight tiny drilled pits of diameter c.1mm. The sides of the object are knife trimmed, presumably to achieve a particular value. If eight units are represented, they would each be of c.0.25gms, which may suggest this to be for checking a post-medieval groat, or eight halfpennies of that period.
