An incomplete Post Medieval lead alloy alnage cloth seal. Only the two inner discs of the four part seal survives, the two outer discs are missing. On one face is the bust of George I with the inscription GEORGI[VS REX] around the edge. On the opposite face is a shield with three fleur de lys inside. Around the edge of the shield should be a tax rate in pence, though this has worn off. The surviving diameter is 12.9mm, the width is 15.9mm and the weight is 2.59g.

It as the crown over shield with arms of England, E (R) to sides and the inscription around the edge reads [S’VLII’PA]O’VIALLE’LON’’ (Seal of the alnage of saleable cloths of London. Disc two only survives in a fragmentary state, but would originally had a ridged cross with sword in first quarter (arms of London) in ronate shield. Around the edge none of the inscription survives, but it would have read [LONDINI PRO PANNIS LANICIS] (for woollen cloths in London).
