A recent copper alloy livery button of Earl of Yarborough. The dome-shaped two-piece button has a harp with a crown above on the front in relief. On the reverse is a wire attachment loop with the illegible markers name around the edge. The diameter is 24.6mm, the thickness is 8.1mm and the weight is 7.06g.

An incomplete copper alloy Post Medieval button. The three-part button has a plano convex sheet metal lower disc to which the missing shank was once attached. The upper part of the button is pressed sheet metal, openwork and decorated with four panels of lead and fruit motifs. In the centre of the upper part is a six petal flower. Around the lower part of the openwork decoration is a rung of open loops. The openwork cover and basal disc are over a core, the nature of which cannot be determined. The diameter is 17.3mm, the length is 18.0mm and the weight is 6.80g.

A Late Medieval to Early Post Medieval cast copper alloy button. The circular solid button head is convex at the front and flat at the back. In the centre is a boss with raised lines radiating from it. In between each radiating line are transverse lines and a pellet at the edge. On the back of the head is an integral circular sectioned looped shank, which is now bent. The diameter of the head is 11.7mm, the thickness of the head is 5.5mm, the surviving length is 13.7mm and the weight is 2.40g.

Copper alloy Button front. Pressed metal front from a composite button; ferrous corrosion trapped in the back may suggest the rest of the button was of steel. A disc of cloth or paper is also trapped within the button. A motif on the button front comprises an anchor in a cartouche, crowned; the cartouche has a field of finely-spaced vertical lines. Suggested date: Modern, 1850-1900. Diameter: 23.2mm, Thickness: 0.7mm, Weight: 2.00gms.
