An incomplete cast copper alloy Romano-Celtic button and loop fastener of Wild's class Va. The incomplete flat circular shaped head has a raised central boss surrounded by a raised cordon around the edge. The back of the head is flat and has a fragment of the integral triangular loop surviving which is bent at a ninety-degree angle to the back of the head. The surface of the fastener is extremely worn and may once have had enamel on the head. The surviving length is 24.0mm, the surviving diameter is 15.9mm, the thickness is 10.4mm and the weight is 4.03g.

The cylindrical dumbbell shaped head has a central moulding with a waist either side and a globular terminal on each end. There are three vertical grooves on the central moulding and two on each of the terminals. On the back of the central moulding is an integral shank, which expands to an incomplete circular loop. The length is 23.6mm, the width is 20.5mm and the weight 7.65g.
