The front is decorated with a moulding around the outer edge and a second moulding between the edge and a small central boss. The back of the button is missing, along with the loop. The diameter is 26.8mm the width is 8.6m, the wall thickness is 1.5mm and the weight is 8.23g.

At the back of the head is an integral rectangular pierced shank. The diameter is 21.4mm, the length is 10.9mm and the weight is 5.92g. A similar example can be found in Read, 2005, p. 41, No.140-141.

To one side of the cross is a raised area, which is attached to the rim. On the back of the button is a boss representing the remains of the shank, which is set along a casting flash line. The surviving diameter is 26.2mm, the thickness is 9.2mm and the weight is 8.80g.
