A medieval silver sheet scabbard chape, conical in shape. The bottom is cut and folded inwards to form the point. The top is decorated with an engraved zigzag line, below the top edge which is cut into a trefoil outline, now damaged. The chape has become bent and distorted.

Fragment from the upper part of a silver bodkin or dress pin having a flat rectangular section through which is a narrow slot. . The terminal is in the form of a small, three dimensional, trefoil below which is a small hole. Both sides of the bodkin are decorated with a pattern of incised lines, transverse, longitudinal and angled. Some of the edges are chamfered.

The object is a silver penny of the Short Cross coinage which has been converted into a brooch. The coin was originally a silver penny of Short Cross class 5bi, issued in 1205 under King John. The moneyer was Pieres operating at Durham: the reverse inscription +PIERES.ON.DVR is virtually complete. The coin would have been produced to the established standard of the English medieval coinage, over 90% fine silver.

A Medieval mount, consisting of the figure of a virgin martyr soldered on to a hollow, tubular fixing, closed at the bottom end by a solid oval plate. The top end is broken, and, close to the break, is a cut-out area clearly designed as part of a complex fixing arrangement. The figure of the saint carries in her right hand the palm of martyrdom; her left side is damaged, so that her iconographic attribute has probably been lost. The whole figure is very much worn, and lacks definition of drapery or physiognomy.
The mount is silver and dates from the fourteenth or fifteenth century.

A fragment of a silver modern cross, the arm of which is broken off. At the centre of the cross is a square plate. This is incised with a saltire cross, which has a circle between each arm. The left and right arms of the cross fragment bear a foliate design. The remaining shaft is plain. On the reverse are the remains of a fitting which may have formed a clasp of some sort. The length is 18.0mm, the 20.8mm and the weight is 3.12g. The cross fragment is executed in the medieval style, but it dates from the nineteenth century when the Gothic aesthetic enjoyed a revival. Treasure report from Beverley Nenk: A medieval silver finger-ring, the hoop of D-shaped section. The exterior surface of the hoop is unadorned, and the interior surface is engraved with the inscription: B S O T O T G R E N H O L M. The meaning of this inscription is unclear, but may be a personal name. The ring is slightly distorted. Non-destructive X-ray fluorescence analysis of the surface of the ring indicates it is a silver-copper alloy with 90-95% silver.

The silver-gilt openwork badge is in the form of St George on horseback, slaying the dragon which lies underneath the horse. In one hand, the saint carries a lance which is inserted into the dragon's open mouth. The badge is incomplete at the apex of the saint's head and has no surviving means of attachment. The back of the badge is plain.
Two silver-gilt badges also depicting St George and the dragon, date to the 15th century and were discovered in Long Stratton, Norfolk. See Treasure Annual Report 2005/6 for details (p. 132, 2005 T568, fig. 562).
