Modern toy fragment. Hollow-cast spoked wheel with tyre, and with part of one end of a motorcycle above it - it is uncertain whether a back or front wheel is represented. Modelled at a scale of 1:32 or 54mm. Melted on one side, presumably from its inclusion in a bonfire. Suggested date: Modern, 1910-1960. Copper alloy button. Three piece hollow composite discoid uniform button, with a drawn wire loop threaded into its back. A die stamped button front bears the image of a cannon and rammer/sponge below an arched Crown Imperial. The image may suggest an artillery unit, though not necessarily the Royal Artillery, as the Regimental motto is omitted. A separate back plate bears a stamped maker's back mark: [---]& WRIGHT LIMITED.BIRMINGHAM. The button front retains traces of green paint, suggesting it was attached to a uniform of khaki drab. Copper alloy dog tag. Milled disc, at first sight retaining no features on either side. One side does bear a splash of white metal, possibly as molten spillage. A magnified view, however, reveals the end of a legend in lettering of modern unseriffed style on one side. Now bent. Suggested date: Modern, 1940-1980.
