The crescent is gilded, and may originally have been enamelled. A rivet hole is pierced through the mount; the rivet, now missing, may have been intended to represent the sun or a star. The mount was probably originally attached to a belt or strap.

The incomplete flat circular shaped head has a raised central boss surrounded by a raised cordon around the edge. The back of the head is flat and has a fragment of the integral triangular loop surviving which is bent at a ninety-degree angle to the back of the head. The surface of the fastener is extremely worn and may once have had enamel on the head. The surviving length is 24.0mm, the surviving diameter is 15.9mm, the thickness is 10.4mm and the weight is 4.03g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Early Medieval Anglo Scandinavian strap end. The openwork tongue shaped strap end is truncated at the attachment end. The Winchester style decoration has an acanthus style motif with a four knobs down each side. The strap end terminates with a terminal knop. The length is 39.3mm, the width is 17.8mm, the thickness is 4.3mm and the weight is 7.71g.

Five fragments of medieval window lead cames. All five fragments are H-shaped in section and are twisted and bent. Most of the flanges are folded inwards.
