Stray coin
Also handed in from the same finder was a base silver radiate of Philip II as Caesar (AD 244-7), however as this forms a very obvious outlier to the denarius hoard group it is recorded below as a stray find.

Condition: Worn, poor, though lettering was present it is now illegible. Though reverse resembles radiates of Valerian (253-60) – Cunetio plate 3, no 444 – the bust is smaller, and the leftward movement of the figure on the reverse is more pronounced.
