A complete lead-alloy cloth seal of Post-Medieval date, c.AD 1400 – 1900. The cloth seal is of the two-disc type with the two discs connected by a strip and sealed by a central rivet. The strip would have formed a loop which is now deformed and filled with organic material. One disc features a central integral rivet which joins with a perforation in the second disc. One surface is stamped with a unclear design, all that remains of this is a small arc. The other side appears plain. The metal has a light brown/white patina and is in fair condition. T…

Copper alloy buckle. Cast asymmetrical frame with an outer trapezoid loop with moulded and incised lip and a narrower rounded inner loop with a narrow strap bar with tiny knops at its ends between the loops. A frame of this form would normally have the rounded part at the front, but both the lip and an attached buckle plate show the usual arrangement was reversed in this case.
