Parallel arises on the dorsal faces suggest regular blade removal off prepared cores. Most are tertiary blades with up to 50% cortex on the dorsal face of some pieces. The chert varies from opaque dark brown greensand chert to mid grey to translucent pale buff with some banded pieces. A few have a white surface patina and may have been burnt. The blade is probably dated to the Neolithic period. It has been knapped from a chert-like stone, which is a mottled mid grey colour. In plan the blade is triangular with the bulb of percussion at the top edge. In profile it is mainly triangular with the upper portion forming a trapezoidal shape in profile. The tip is slightly rounded, but appears to be worn, and not damaged. It is 73.4mm long, 29.4mm wide, 9.7mm thick and weighs 16.89g.
