A small but elaborate Neolithic thumb scraper. The scraper has a shallow plano-convex section, with one flat side and one convex. The flint is roughly circular in overall shape. It has been formed from a light brownish-grey flint. The bulb of percussion and striking platform have both been removed, but the ripples of percussion are still evident. 40% of the dorsal surface is still coated with natural cortex. There are many shallow arrises. The upper half of the dorsal surface has been heavily retouched, forming a scraper end. The retouch is steep and elaborate.

A lithic implement, possibly a tool or scraper of Neolithic date. The object is irregularly shaped, with a bulbous terminal and an irregular extension. The bulbous terminal proper has been knapped and re-worked into a rounded end, with steep working. This could be the remains of a scraper edge. The striking platform and bulb of percussion no longer remain though ripples of percussion and scars can still be seen. The flint is a light brownish-grey colour with some lighter flaws. There is no sign of cortex re-growth.
