A small but elaborate Neolithic thumb scraper. The scraper has a shallow plano-convex section, with one flat side and one convex. The flint is roughly circular in overall shape. It has been formed from a light brownish-grey flint. The bulb of percussion and striking platform have both been removed, but the ripples of percussion are still evident. 40% of the dorsal surface is still coated with natural cortex. There are many shallow arrises. The upper half of the dorsal surface has been heavily retouched, forming a scraper end. The retouch is steep and elaborate.

The bulbous terminal proper has been knapped and re-worked into a rounded end, with steep working. This could be the remains of a scraper edge. The striking platform and bulb of percussion no longer remain though ripples of percussion and scars can still be seen. The flint is a light brownish-grey colour with some lighter flaws. There is no sign of cortex re-growth.

It has a triangular form, similar to the barbed and tanged arrowheads of the Bronze Age. The arrowhead has been knapped out of flint and then pressure flaked, there is evidence of retouch. This type of lithic implement probably dates to circa 3500 - 800 BC.

A lithic thumb scraper of Neolithic date designed to be held between your thumb and forefinger. The object is oval in shape and D-shaped in section with the edges showing signs of being worked. The dorsal surface is flat and the worked edge is fairly shallow. The striking platform no longer remains but the bulb of percussion and ripples of percussion can still be seen. The flint is a mid blackish-brown colour with some lighter flaws. There are no signs of cortex re-growth. The implement is 41.1mm long and weighs 11.5g.

A fragment of very fine and well finished Neolithic to early Bronze Age lithic object. The object appears to have been polished in much the same way as a Neolithic polished stone axehead. The striations of the polishing are visible on both surfaces. The edges of the object have then been re-worked to form possibly a secondary object. It has been broken across the middle. A large lithic scraper of Neolithic date. The object is rounded in shape and the striking platform has been removed but the bulb of percussion survives, with evidence of bulb scars. The edges have been worked predominantly around the upper edge forming a large thumb scrapper. The flint is a light whitish-grey colour with some lighter flaws and shows signs of cortex re-growth. The scraper is 47.2mm in length, 39.5mm in width, 9.2mm thick and weighs 9.2g.

It is D-shaped in plan with the curved edge showing signs of being worked, with shallow arrises, but a steep edge. The striking platform and bulb of percussion have been removed. The flint is a mid whitish-grey colour with some lighter inclusions. The object is 54mm in length, 32.2mm in width, 6.5mm thick and weighs 16.9g.
