It is a tertiary flake, sub-pentagonal in plan and sub-elliptical in cross-section. There is short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch to the distal edges which form a blunt point to the end. The retouch has been carried out from both the dorsal and ventral faces of the flint. Edge damage has also obsured parts of the retouch. The flint is 34.8mm long x 30.4mm wide x 8.3mm thick and weighs 7.3g.

A complete flint notched scraper of Neolithic date (4000-2350 BC). The lithic is sub-rectangular in profile and is plano-convex in section. The dorsal surface has been invasively flaked in an irregular scaled pattern. The proximal edge has been abruptly blunted and the distal, left and right hand edges contain fine, semi-abrupt retouch. There is a notched/ semi-circular recess and projecting spur in the distal aspect. The ventral surface is smooth with a shallow bulb of percussion situated at the distal end. The dorsal surface retains the majority of its cortex with minor flakes removed along all edges. All edges contain fine, semi-abrupt retouch. The ventral surface is smooth, slightly concave with a small bulb of percussion situated at the proximal end. The lithic retains a large amount of cortex and is therefore a primary flake. The flint is a dark grey in colour with cream inclusions throughout. The cortex is a mid-brown in colour.
