A complete ground or polished stone axehead of late Neolithic date, c. 4000 - 2300 BC. The axehead is sub-ovate in plan, narrower at the butt end with a steep curve to the cutting edge. It has a facetted ovate section with squared off sides. The butt end and cutting edge are damaged. Dolerite, fine grained. The axehead is 107.1mm long, 63.6mm to 35.6mm wide, 31.5mm thick and weighs 332g.

A complete stone axehead of late Neolithic date, c. 4000 - 2300 BC. The axehead is sub-ovate in plan, widest at the centre and curving to either end with the butt narrower than the cutting edge. It has an oval section. Gabroic, coarse grained, with mica inclusions. The axehead is c.223mm long, 53.8mm to 69mm to 21.1mm wide, 41.2mm thick and weighs 955g.

An incomplete knapped lithic implement of late Neolithic date, circa 2700 BC - 2350 BC. The implement is the distal portion of a polished knife formed from a tertiary flake which is D-shaped in plan having been broken to one end and has a pointed ovate section. The object has been bifacially worked and displays low angle removals. The distal edge has been polished resulting in a smooth curve. The flint is a dark grey colour. The implement is 30mm long, 25.1mm wide, 8.5mm thick and weighs 7.9g.

A complete knapped lithic implement of late Neolithic to early Bronze Age date, circa 2700 - 1600 BC. The implement is a scraper formed from a primary flake which sub-circular with an ovate section. The ventral surface is fairly smooth with irregular flaking around the edges. The dorsal surface retains a mid-brown cortex. The flint is a white colour. The implement is 29.1mm long, 27.2mm wide, 8.5mm thick and weighs 7.1g.

There is short, sub-parallel, semi-abrupt retouch to the distal end and the right mesal. Suggested date: Late Neolithic or early Bronze Age, 2500 - 1500 BC. The ventral side has a low bulb of percussion with ripples of percussion emanating from it. There is short, semi-abrupt retouch to the distil end and right mesal. Length: 44.7mm, width: 30.5mm and thickness: 7.8mm. Weight: 12.3g.

Fragment from a polished stone axehead of Neolithic date (c. 4000 - 2350 BC), made from stone from Langdale, Cumbria. The fragment is light green in colour, with a smooth polished surface. The fragment seems to be from the butt end of the axehead; a small section of tapered edge from the butt end is evident, as well as one side edge. Much of the original face survives on one side but is largely missing on the other. Overall, the axehead appears to have been pointed oval in section. A portion has broken off to the side of one of the faces. The original surface of the object is smooth, while the surface of the breaks is rough. The butt edge is slightly chipped. The fragment is 50.97mm in length, 30.72mm in width and 34.48mm in thickness. It weighs 38.96g.
