A complete flint side scraper of Neolithic date (3500-2100 BC). The lithic is sub-rectangular in profile and concavo-convex in section. The dorsal surface is convex with two predominant negative scars and a minor amount of retained cortex along the right hand, distal edge. The left and right hand edges contain irregular semi-abrupt retouch. The left hand edge, due to deep ripples of percussion is denticulated. The ventral surface is concave with shallow ripples of percussion emanating from the distal end. The lithic retains a minor amount of cortex and is therefore a s…

A complete flint retouched flake of Neolithic date (4300-2100 BC). The lithic is sub-spatulate in profile and concavo-convex in section. The dorsal surface is convex with four predominant negative scars and a minor amount of retained cortex along the proximal edge. The distal, left hand edges contain fine semi-abrupt retouch. Both the proximal and distal ends have been abruptly blunted and the left and right hand edges taper inward. The ventral surface is concave with shallow ripples of percussion emanating from the distal end. The lithic retains a minor amount of cort…

The dorsal surface has three predominant negative scars with corresponding arrises. The proximal edge has been blunted, all other edges contain some fine semi-abrupt retouch. There is a minor amount of cortex retained along the left hand distal edge. The ventral surface is concave with a small bulb of percussion situated at the proximal end. The distal end has distinct and deep ripples of percussion. The flint is dark grey…

The dorsal surface is convex with two predominant negative scars corresponding arrises. The proximal end has been abruptly blunted. All other edges contain fine semi-abrupt retouch. There is a recessed notched aspect in the proximal left hand edge. The ventral surface is predominantly flat with shallow ripples of percussion emanating from the proximal end.
