An incomplete cast copper-alloy Roman or later Iron Age bow brooch of La Tene III or Nauheim derivative type. A portion of the integrally cast spring is retained separately. The bow has a flat cross sectional profile and is lenticular in shape, expanding to a maximum width of 8.5mm at the lower end before tapering sharply towards the foot which has largely broken off. The bow is decorated with a double row of punched dots along both lateral margins.

An incomplete copper alloy terret harness fitting of late Iron Age to Roman date (c.50 BC - AD 100).
The terret survives only as a fragment and presents a curved D-shape bar with a raised moulding that terminates in a won break. The beginnings of a horizontal strap bar extends from the bar and also terminates in a worn break. The surface is undecorated and has a slightly pitted surface and a smooth dark green patina.

The object consists of a flat ring that is mostly complete. Within and integral to the ring is an open triskele pattern of which one of the three arms is missing. In the centre of the triskele projects an integral bar that is cylindrical in shape and at the top of which is an open loop for attachment. The loop has a diameter of 16.4mm. The object is undecorated and largely has a smooth mid green patina. Patches of active, bright green corrosion are present at the broken areas.

Description: The object is symmetrical, consisitng of two conjoined globules which narrow at either end before flaring to discoidal terminals, each with circumferential grooves. An incomplete cast copper-alloy La Tene III/Nauheim derivative type bow brooch dating to the late Iron Age or early Roman period, 31mm in length, comprising the bow and a stump of the spring, which is made from the same piece of metal as the rest of the brooch. The bow has a flat cross sectional profile and is decorated with a zig zag line along the centre between two linear borders, terminating in a number of transverse lines at the foot. The pin and most of the spring is missing as is the foot and catchplate.

A complete but broken one-piece cast copper-alloy late Iron Age to Early Roman brooch of the Tène III Type, dating to 50 BC - AD 70.
It has a three-coil spring mechanism with internal chord and complete pin that has split from the bow head and slipped down the shaft. The bow is curved in profile and has an oval cross-section tapering towards the foot where it flatens creating the catch plate. The catch plate is trapezoidal in profile and has the upper corner of the back edge folded in itself in order to create the catch for the pin.

An incomplete Iron Age copper alloy brooch Colchester one-piece brooch dating AD 25-60.
Description: On either side of the head project short rectangular-section wings and at the head's apex is a (bent out of shape) forward facing hook. The spring has been stretch but loosely retains what appears to be a five-coil spring and external chord. The spring tapers to a point where the pin would have stemmed from.
