The diameter is 45.3mm, the diameter of the central hole is 7.9mm and the weight is 16.04g.

A complete cast copper alloy medieval seal matrix. The circular diel has a short hexagonal-section handle which terminates with a pierced attachment lug. The central motif is a hare with long ears extending behind the head, riding a hunting dog. The hare is carrying a pole over his shoulder with his catch suspended from it at each end, possibly a man. This type of matrix is fairly common, and comes in a number of variants, but its essence is "the world upside down", with the prey (the hare) becoming the hunter. An incomplete cast copper alloy medieval buckle plate. The surviving rectangular plate is broken at the recessed end and the slot for the missing pin is covered with iron corrosion. At the opposite end are two rivet holes and the back plate is missing. The front of the plate has the relief design of a lion passant looking back at his tail. The length of the buckle plate is 28.4mm, the width is 18.1mm, the thickness is 2.8mm and the weight is 4.18g.

Copper alloy vessel leg (as identified by finder). A cast and possibly anthropomorphic leg from a vessel, perhaps from a tripod ewer serving as formal tableware rather than a cooking pot. The sharply everted foot appears like a shoe or possibly the end of an armoured leg, and is separated from the leg by a horizontal rib in relief. The leg itself is of irregular hexagonal section, and unusually long and slender. Suggested date: Medieval, 1200-1350. Pottery plaque. Two fragments of a large ceramic plaque of estimated diameter 450mm. This has a low and non-functional foot-ring on the reverse, and a painted or enamel design fired on the display face. A florid signature in apparently European script, which is undeciphered, was painted on the reverse before firing fixed the decorative scheme. The plaque was glazed on both sides and shows evidence for subsequent repair on the reverse of both fragments: a series of pin-holes of diameter 1.5mm are set 40mm or more apart along the broken edges of both fragments.
