A worn cast copper-alloy medieval two-part horse harness pendant. The incomplete outer frame is in the form of a quatrefoil with a cusp in each angle, though the lower half is missing. The apex of the frame has a pierced attachment loop, which is turned 90ยบ to the frame and has the remains of an iron pin through it. An incomplete cast lead medieval ampulla. The lower part of the ampulla has a rounded base, which tapers to a midway point, then flares slightly outwards at the slightly open upper edge. On one side of the midway point is an integral triangular loop. The loop on the other side is missing. On one face is a Type I scallop-shell motif with bold radiating ribs, notched edges and well-defined shoulders (Spencer, 1990, 59). The other face has a worn design of a circle, possibly with a void bend inside. The length is 40.8mm, the width is 37.0mm, thickness is 10.2 and the weight is 53.0g.

The convex front has lozengiform cross-hatching decoration on the central panel and the backplate is torn and the top half is missing. The surviving length is 29.9mm, the width is 14.5mm and the weight is 4.40g. A parallel from London has been dated to the 15th century (Ward Perkins, 1940, p 273 and 279, plate LXXVI, No. 9).

The sub-oval lug is rectangular in section and has a central circular perforation (diameter 6.4mm). From the flared end of the lug projects the remains of an iron rivet which would have secured the handle to the vessel. A cast copper alloy medieval mirror case lid. The incomplete plano-convex circular lid originally had four/five protrusions around the edge, though only three now survives. The face is decorated with a cross/crosslets design made up of ringed-dots set within a circle of ringed-dots. The attachment hinge is set on a rectangular protrusion from which descends a single lug, which contains traces of an iron pin. On the reverse there are two grooves cut into the underside of the lid. The length is 38.0mm, the width is 33.5mm, the thickness is 2.0mm and the weight is 12.41g.

An incomplete cast cooper alloy medieval buckle and integral plate. The single oval loop has a thickened outer edge with a knob at either side. There are two more similar knobs on either side of the integral plate. Looped through a hole on the plate is a copper alloy pin. There are the remains of gilding on the front of the plate, near the pin hole. Only a fragment of the copper alloy plate survives. The surviving length is 20.7mm, the width is 14.7mm, the maximum thickness is 5.1mm and the weight is 2.32g.

From the rim are two tears, which may originally been notches that have split along the sides. The sides are decorated with large circular indentations in rows and the slightly domed top has the same indentations in a spiral formation. Fragment of a Medieval silver-gilt finger-ring. The incomplete cabled hoop has ridged shoulders and part of a double facetted bezel. It resembles in design rings generally termed iconographic, but in this instance there is no evidence to suppose that it carried images of Saints. Possibly a cast copper alloy medieval monumental brass fragment. The irregular shaped plate has two surviving bevelled edges. The face of the plate is decorated with incised lines but which form no coherent pattern. There are two rivet holes through the object and the back of the object is plain. The bevelled edges means the back is smaller than the front, which suggests that the plate was intended to be inlaid into a surface. The surviving length is 35.9mm, the surviving width is 25.3mm, the thickness is 1.8mm and the weight is 5.37g.

A slightly crushed Medieval lead-alloy bell. The crushed ball-shaped bell has an integral D-shaped attachment loop. The base of the bell is made up of four petal like flaps and a pebble found inside the bell may have been the clapper. The body is decorated with a pattern of cast, raised bands representing ribbons, each 4mm wide and filled with raised transverse lines. The diameter is 17.0mm, the length is 21.0mm and the weight is 6.40g. Metal analysis done by the finder using the Phi-Rho-Z method shows that bell is an alloy of 95.01% lead and 4.99% copper. A complete cast copper alloy Medieval bar mount with pendant loop. The quatrefoil shaped loop has a terminal knop. At the upper end has a constriction for the suspending bar-mount. The bar is leaf-shaped at the front, with a square plate at the back, joined by a copper alloy rivet. The diameter of the pendant is 14.4mm, the length is 17.7mm and the complete weight is 2.40g. The bar mount has a length of 13.2mm, a width of 4.6mm and a thickness of 5.4mm.

A complete cast copper alloy Medieval seal matrix. The hexagonal conical handle a pointed topped attachment loop with a double moulded collar. The circular matrix has a simple device of two upper case letters; a D and probably an O, the latter having two faint cross bars. Above and below the letters are pairs of leaves and a line representing a twig links the upper leaves. The diameter of the seal is 16.2mm, the length is 19.3mm and the weight is 6.11g.

A complete cast copper alloy Medieval thimble. The dome-shaped thimble has an unthickened rim and the sides have large hand punched circular indentations in horizontal rows. The slightly rounded top has three concentric circles of the same indentations and the centre is plain. A hole has worn through a section at the junction between the top and sidewall. The maximum diameter of the rim is 21.6mm, the diameter at the top of the side is 15.9mm, the length is 21.6mm and the weight is 6.64g.

An incomplete copper alloy Medieval buckle and plate. The cast D-shaped frame has a central expended area for the pin notch. Looped around the offset strap bar is a sheet copper alloy pin. The incomplete simple folded plate, was probably originally D-shaped and is recessed for the frame and has a slot for the pin. In the centre is a single copper alloy rivet. The surviving length is 25.1mm, the width is 23.9mm, the thickness is 2.6mm and the weight is 3.47g.

A fragment of a cast copper alloy Medieval buckle. The fragment comes from the outside edge of square frame and is surmounted by a knop bearing a human face over which is a leaf-motif. The surviving fraction of the side of the frame shows it to have angled, raising the buckle bar above the level of the outside edge. The surviving length is 19.7mm, the surviving width is 15.8mm, the thickness is 2.4mm and the weight is 2.89g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Medieval Strap Slider. The rectangular frame has a central boss on the top bar bearing pinecone decoration, the underside of which is hollow. Either end of the top bar is a small knop. The other three sides of the frame are plain except for the lower one, which has two rivet holes. Through one of the holes is an internal circular-headed copper alloy rivet with a length of 3.6mm. The length of the frame is 21.8mm, the width is 27.7mm, the maximum thickness is 6.3mm and the weight is 4.69g.

The folded rectangular copper alloy sheet plate is recessed for the frame and has a slot for the copper alloy wire pin. The plate is secured by a single copper alloy rivet at the inside edge of the plate. Around the edges of the plate is a solid line bordered on either side by a line of chip marks. An complete cast copper alloy Medieval rotary key. The hollow tubular stem terminates with a collar of three mouldings and a circular bow. On either side of the bow are a number of spurs that could represent animal heads. The symmetrical rectangular bit has two clefts on each side and a cleft on the bottom. The length of the bit is 12.2mm, the width is 18.3mm and the thickness is 5.5mm. The external length of the bow is 23.5mm and the width is 17.9mm. The complete length of the key is 68.5mm, the diameter of the stem is 7.3mm and the weight is 27.39g.

An incomplete cast copper alloy Medieval horse harness pendant. The triangular pedant is slightly curved and is thickened at one corner, which probably expanded into an attachment loop, though this is now missing. One of the other corners has broken off. The face has incised decoration in the form of a St Andrew's cross executed with rocker arm decoration. Some traces of gilding survive around the cross. The surviving length is 28.4mm, the surviving with is 28.6mm, the thickness is 1.2mm and the weight is 5.44g.

An almost complete cast copper alloy Medieval buckle and plate. The single loop oval buckle frame has an expanded outer edge with a pin rest and a narrowed and offset strap bar. Looped around the strap bar is a cast copper alloy pin. The rectangular copper alloy buckle plate is folded and recessed for the strap bar and has a slot for the pin. The plate has four of the five remaining copper alloy rivets. The back of the plate is lozenge shaped and between the plates is a surviving fragment of leather. The length is 44.9mm, the width is 24.3mm and the weight is 9.14g.
