An almost complete knapped, ground and polished flint axehead of late Neolithic date, c. 2700 - 2300 BC. The axehead is formed of an orange/brown flint with larger pale inclusions and small dark inclusions; probably a North Sea type flint. The axehead is sub-ovate in plan; narrower at the butt end with sides which gradually widen to the crescentic cutting edge. The axe has a slight humped profile and a regular oval cross section. A complete possible saddle quern handstone of basaltic composition of Neolithic date, c.4000 – 3000 BC. The object is sub-ovate in plan and section with two flattened surfaces, likely formed by repeated grinding. One surface is fairly shallow while the second is more prominent and heavily worked with an approximately 45 degree angle. An incomplete stone axehead of Neolithic date (c. BC 3500-1200). The axehead is trapezoidal in plan with a pointed ovate section. The surfaces are smooth and polished, with some chips and edges missing from the both ends, which is likely to be caused by post-depositional damage. The implement is the proximal portion of a blade formed from a tertiary flake which is D-shaped in plan and section. It has a fairly regular latitudinal break to the upper end. The ventral surface is smooth with ripples of percussion radiating from a prominent bulb. The dorsal face is irregular with semi-abrupt, short, parallel retouch along the right edge. The flint is a light to mid-grey colour. The implement is 35.6mm long, 23.4mm wide, 7.3mm thick and weighs 5.9g.

A scraper of probable Neolithic date, 4000 - 2350 BC. The scraper is formed from a secondary flake. There is a small amount of cortex remaining at the proximal end, where there is the striking platform. The flake is mottled grey in colour. On the dorsal face there is semi-abrupt, semi-parallel extensive retouch at the distil end. A flake has been removed towards the right mesal, to facilitate holding the scraper between the thumb and the first index finger. The ventral face is smooth with a low bulb of percussion. Flint possible scraper. A trapezoid flake with broad parallel flakes struck from its dorsal side and with a lightly convex ventral surface. An angled wedge-shaped end was perhaps formed by hard hammer strike executed from the dorsal aspect, and the grooves formed by the initial working may have afforded a thumb rest were this a working face. Dense creamy patina suggests the object has endured prolonged exposure to a calcareous environment. It has subsequently been water-rolled.
