A silver post medieval coin - incomplete and broken into two parts - almost the entire surface is lost through polishing - all that survives is a single large lis - given it's size and position it may suggest that this coin was once French - possibly a deniar of Louis XVI similar to this copper alloy coin ' a denier' recorded from London (LON-517802)
