The coin in clipped to a small size but the inner circle (measureable on the reverse) is 14.5mm suggesting the coin is a threepence, as does the date of 1571. Obverse and obverse legend are completely worn and illegible but would have shown a crowned bust left, rose behind - [ELIZABETH D G ANG FR ET HI REGINA].
