A Post Medieval silver hammered coin of Elizabeth I (1558-1603). The coin is probably a Threefarthings coin, it is very worn and has been heavily clipped at the edges. It has a crease, suggesting it has been bent and re-straightened. The Threefarthings coin was minted between 1561 and 1582. Spink (2011) reference numbers 2571 or 2576.

Silver threefarthings of Elizabeth I. It has recently been broken in two and has been clipped. It was minted in London, but has no date on it. It is probably third issue and so dates from 1561 to 1577.
