Obverse shows crowned bust left EL [IZABETH D G ANG FRA ET] HIB REGINA. Reverse depicts long cross fourchée over royal shield; [POSVI/] DEV AD/IVTORE [/M MEV]. Tower of London mint.

A clipped, chipped and polished silver post medieval coin, uncertain ruler and mint, possibly a half penny of Elizabeth I (AD 1561-1582). Pelleted borders can be seen on both sides but no other details due to extreme polishing. The coin has a crease across the diameter, probably indicating it has been folded and unfolded.
