A silver penny of Elizabeth I (AD 1558-1603) slightly clipped. There are two pellets behind the left facing bust. The coin is quite worn but the initial mark appears to be a tun, which would date the coin to AD 1591-1594.

A silver half groat of Elizabeth I (AD 1557-1603). The intitial mark is a crescent which dates the striking to AD 1587-1589. There are two pellets behind the left facing bust. The coin is quite worn but the initial mark can be made out on both faces, and enough of the reverse legend survives to read London mint.
