This was a possible, post medieval silver coin (based on size - a post medieval sixpence), now worn beyond recognition but used as a possible token. One side has a stamped letter ‘S’ and the other has four sharply indented marks consisting of two triangles, an oblong and what may represent a letter ‘a’. There are no further identification features and the surface is much marked, stained and erroded in parts.
