A incomplete and worn silver Roman anonymous denarius of the Civil War period c.AD 68-69 (Reece period 3). SPQR reverse type depicting the legend within a wreath. Probable minted in Gaul. cf. RIC I (2nd ed.), p. 209, nos. 72-73 for the type
Obverse: [SALVS GENERIS HVMANI] Illegible legend, Victory standing right(?) on globe(?)
Reverse: S.P.Q.R within an oak wreath.
