A silver Roman coin; a siliqua of Valens (364 – 378), Urbs Roma type (364-7 AD). The coin has a diameter of 17.7mm and is 1.3mm thick. It weighs 2.1g. The coin was minted in Rome and depicts Roma seated on the reverse. It is in very fine condition. For reference see Roman Imperial Coinage Volume IX, page 119, number 11b. The coin is apparently unclipped.
