A copper-alloy nummus, probably Valens, dating to the period AD 364-378. Reece 19. Obverse shows diademed bust right. Obverse legend is illegible but has large lettering. Reverse shows emperor advancing right, dragging captive, and holding a standard. Reverse legend reads GLORIA ROMANORVM. Mint is Rome: -//SMleafR[ ]. Die axis is 6 o'clock. Diameter is 15.98, weight is 1.9g. Condition is worn. Reference: LRBC p.61, no.722.
