A silver siliqua probably of Valentinian I (AD 364-376) and dating to the period AD 364-367. Reece period 19. The reverse of the coin appears to be damaged, or the die was old, whereas the obverse die appears too big for the flan. It is possible this is a contemporary copy.

A very worn and corroded 4th-century copper-alloy Roman nummus of Valens, 'SECVRITAS REI PVBLICAE', Rome mint (367-375 AD; Reece issue period 19; LRBC 725). This coin has been pierced at a later date possibly for re-use as an item of jewellery. The piercing is at around 9 o'clock on the obverse and around 9 o'clock on the reverse. Although this practice is associated with the early-medieval period, a Roman date for this piercing ought not to be ruled out.
