AD 364 to 378 (Reece Period 19) Obv.: Cuirassed bust. Leg.:llegible. Rev.: Illegible left. Leg.: Illegible. Measurements: 22.64mm in diameter, 2.35mm thick and 3.74g in weight. Discussion: It has been suggested by Sam Moorhead (2013, 141), National Finds Advisor on roman coinage, that nummi of the House of Valentinian (AD364 to 392) are particurlarly prone to corroding to this orangey-brown colour.
