The edges of the coin are damaged and it is corroded, but it has vey little wear.

The obverse type is unclear, but might be a laureate and cuirassed bust right with shield, but this type is not recorded for Licinius at Trier, London or Lyon. In fact, in RIC, this type is only struck for Licinius II at Trier, c. AD 321.
