A nummus of Constantius II as Caesar (AD 323-337), dating from AD 324-5 (Reece Period 16). PROVIDENTIAE CAES reverse depicts camp gate with two towers and a star above. Mint of Trier. RIC VII, p. 205, cf. no. 456. The mintmark given, PS, appears to be in error.

A copper-alloy nummus of the House of Constantine, probably of Constantius II, AD 324-328 (Reece period 16). Reverse legend reads PROVIDEN-[TIAE CAESS]. Reverse shows Camp Gate with two towers and a star above. Probably mint of Trier. Obverse legend reads [...] CONST(ANTIVS) NOB CAES. Obverse shows a laurate and cuirassed bust left. Die axis is 12 o'clock. Weight is 2.53g, diameter is 18.7mm, thickness is 1.7mm.
